Our one-year graduate scheme is designed to enable those with degrees in computer science, electronic engineering or engineering to develop their skills and expertise and become future leaders in the quantum computing industry.
Our graduate scheme
You will join us at our office in Cambridge, UK, where you will work alongside our multi-disciplinary team and rotate through different functions of the company including engineering, quantum science and product. Every graduate trainee will have a dedicated supervisor who will support you throughout the year and provide coaching to develop your skills. You will be given responsibility from the outset, gaining hands-on experience and developing a broad understanding of quantum computing, as well as receiving support in building key engineering skills.
We are only able to accept applications from individuals who already have the right to work in the UK (e.g. UK / Irish nationals, or those who have settled/ pre-settled status).
We are unable to provide sponsorship or letters of support for sponsorship applications for our graduate recruitment scheme.
The graduate recruitment scheme starts on Monday 7th October, 2024 and lasts for one year.
"The graduate scheme at Riverlane has been one of the greatest learning experiences I have ever had. I’ve been particularly enjoying diving deeper into unfamiliar topics and having new stimulating challenges that sharpen my problem-solving skills. Not only the exciting cutting-edge work is very fulfilling, but the whole Riverlane team is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and collaborative. I’ve already learned a tremendous amount, become more confident in my abilities and had fun along the way. Riverlane is an exciting, fast-paced and open-minded place that I am extremely grateful to be a part of."- Zal Nemeth, Graduate Engineer 2022-2023
