Prize Draw & Giveaway – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) set out the terms that apply to participants taking part in Quantum Quest (as defined below) run by Riverlane Ltd.
No purchase is necessary to enter Quantum Quest and making a purchase will not increase a participant’s chances of winning.

Who we are
The promoter of this prize draw and giveaway is Riverlane Ltd, with its registered address at St Andrews House, 59 St Andrews Street, Cambridge, CB2 3BZ, United Kingdom (“Riverlane”).

Prize draw and giveaway
Quantum Quest is a giveaway and prize draw organised by Riverlane, open to all attendees of the IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering (QCE), taking place from 13–18 September 2026 (the “Event”). Visitors to Riverlane’s commercial exhibition stand (“Riverlane’s Booth”) will have the opportunity to win the prizes described in Section 4below by competing in a game by Riverlane (“Quantum Quest”).
The game “Quantum Quest” will score participants and contribute to a leaderboard, where the top 3 scores will recieve a prize. All participants will recieve a small token for playing the game, at the Riverlane Booth.

How to enter
Quantum Quest will run from 6:30pm (EST) 14 September 2026 until 1:00pm (MDT) 17 September 2026 at the Event.
Individuals may participate Quantum Quest at any time during the Event by engaging in the live game at the Riverlane Booth.
Quantum Quest is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary to participate. Making a purchase will not increase a participant’s chances of winning.
By completing the game at the Riverlane Booth a participant agrees to be bound by these T&Cs. Riverlane reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award a prize to any participant that fails to meet any eligibility requirements for Quantum Quest.

Prizes
The prizes available for successful completion of the Quantum Quest will consist of:
a) First prize will be a Meta Quest VR headset.
b) Second prize will be x2 tickets to a local experience in the city the event takes place. To be sent to the winner via email.
c) Third prize will be a surface code style mouse pad.
d) All participants who enter Quantum Quest shall be given a small token including but not limited to a pin badge and/or a sticker pack, subject to availability.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 17 September 2026, at 13:00pm at the Riverlane Booth, the winner will also be shared on LinkedIn. Participants will be emailed ahead of the announcement as a reminder to return to the booth for the prize draw.
All participants understand and agree that all articipation Prizes aare non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. Riverlane reserves the right to substitute a Participation Prize or Random Draw Prize for equal or greater value if necessary.

Eligibility
Quantum Quest is open to all attendees with a valid entry ticket to the Event aged 18 years or over, excluding:
a) any government employee (including but not limited to any Federal personnel and public official); and
b) any employees, contractors, officers and family members of such employees, contractors and officers of Riverlane and/or any Riverlane affiliate.

Selection of Winners
Participation Prize winners will be selected and shall receive such prize immediately at the Riverlane Booth upon completion of the Tasks to Riverlane’s satisfaction.
The top 3 winners will be led by the leaderboard when the game closes at 13:00pm on 17 September 2026.
Winners of the top 3 prizes shall be notified either in person at the Event or by using the contact details provided by the participant. If such a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to confirm postal details within 48 hours, the winner’s Random Draw Prize shall be forfeited and Riverlane may select an alternate winner in accordance with process set out in this section 6 of these T&Cs.
The prizes shall be provided to the winner in person at the Event, or where this is not possible, by post within 7 days of confirming their postal details (subject to having confirmed these details within 48 hours).

Personal Information and Publicity
Participant’s personal information may be collected by Riverlane upon participation in Quantum Quest, including but not limited to, name, contact details and photographs.
Participant’s name and contact details will be used for the purpose of administering participant’s entry in Quantum Quest. In processing your personal information for this purpose, Riverlane relies on its legitimate interest and/or the performance of its contract with participants, to ensure Riverlane can manage your entry to, and participation in, Quantum Quest.
A participant’s name, contact details and photographs may also be used by Riverlane to send general marketing emails to such participant’s and/or issue Riverlane marketing publications, where permitted by applicable laws. In processing information for this purpose, Riverlane relies on its legitimate interests to promote its business.
In any event, Riverlane may be required to publish or make available information that a valid award of the Random Prize Draw took place under Quantum Quest. To comply with this obligation, Riverlane may publish the winner’s name and company on one of its marketing publications unless prohibited by law or the winner objects to the use of their name for this purpose. In such circumstances, Riverlane may still be required to provide the information and winning entry to any relevant authority on request.

General Conditions
Riverlane reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel Quantum Quest if circumstances arise outside its control.
Any decision of Riverlane regarding any aspect of the Participating Prize, the Random Draw Prize or anything else in connection with Quantum Quest shall be final and binding.
Winners of any prize awarded in connection with Quantum Quest are solely responsible for any notational federal, state, or other local applicable taxes associated with the receipt or use of a prize.

Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riverlane will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate participants or winners or accept any liability for (i) any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participation in Quantum Quest or a winner accepting or receiving a prize or (ii) for any errors, damage, or defects in the prizes, except in relation to any liability which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Governing Law
Participants agree that the Quantum Quest and these T&Cs are governed by English law and if any participants of Quantum Quest wish to initiate court proceedings, they must do this within the courts of England and Wales, only.
