We are currently entering an exciting phase at Riverlane. With 24 staff, we want to double the size of the team over the next year to reach our ambitious goals. We need to attract the brightest individuals, from a range of technical backgrounds, who share our values and vision for the future. Riverlane is therefore looking for an experienced recruiter who can lead our recruitment efforts, building relationships with hiring managers and developing a pipeline of high-calibre candidates. About the role
In partnership with the VP People, business leaders and hiring managers, you will be responsible for implementing recruitment strategies to identify talented individuals with the right capability and skills in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Your role will involve proactively anticipating talent needs, executing sourcing plans, job postings, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management and overseeing the hiring administration process.
What you will do
Participate in all major activities in the recruitment life cycle including sourcing planning, job postings, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management, hiring and supporting onboarding
Manage relationships with PSL
Direct source candidates at all levels
Proactively build and develop relationships with hiring managers and other colleagues to educate and enhance the skills of those involved in the hiring process e.g., provide advice about recruitment responsibilities and legal requirements: support drafting of job descriptions, project management and service delivery
Coach hiring managers in interviewing techniques and recommend resources and tools to support the interviewing, assessment and evaluation of candidates
Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates, building a strong pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates to meet both current and anticipated business needs
Gather and analyse feedback and data from various sources to drive continuous improvement
Ensure that ways of working remain fit for purpose and exploit new ways of working and lean methodology to ensure a great candidate and hiring manager experience
Manage referral program
Keep diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do at Riverlane
Execute additional tasks to meet organisational, team and project-related objectives
Act as an external company ambassador to promote Riverlane’s culture
What we need
Substantial recruitment experience preferably gained in the technology sector
Expert in delivering full life-cycle recruitment services
Expert in identifying and securing candidates via various ‘direct’ channels – social media; LinkedIn etc., networking, market mapping, careers fairs, industry events etc.
Highly competent IT skills, including the Microsoft suite, to produce meaningful management information
Advanced communication, presentation and project management skills
Advanced stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Strong persuading, influencing, negotiating and consultation skills
Ability to build and maintain a vast network of professional relationships
Demonstrated business acumen
Resilient and able to manage a heavy and diverse workload
Comprehensive knowledge of government regulations regarding employment topics
