You will join our cross-disciplinary team of software developers, mathematicians, quantum information theorists, computational chemists and physicists – all world experts in their fields. Our collaborative, close-knit team has a track record of delivering high-quality R&D across the full quantum stack. As a growing company, you will have the freedom to think independently and creatively, as well as contribute to Riverlane’s business development.

About the role

Working as part of a flexible Engineering group, you will help us improving our testing and cloud infrastructures. As part of your role, you will:

  • Identify how to optimally test our codebase on multiple platforms, providing valuable metrics to our Product Owners
  • Improve our build toolchain, leveraging cloud and distributed resources
  • Identify improvements and adjustments that we can apply to our codebase and development/testing practices

What we need

  • A Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Experience (commercial or academic) with: Docker (Container, Compose, Hub), Makefile, CMake, Jenkins, Azure CI, Github and Github Actions
  • Proficient in writing scripts to automate flows (Unix focused)
  • Knowledge of scripting for Windows and Mac
  • Exposure to testing on Python (unittest) and to documentation generation (sphinx or equivalent)
  • An interest in quantum computing
